First up on my list is Tipu Sultan on Alcester Road. This halal North Indian restaurant has over 5,000 highly-rated Google reviews thanks to its famous North Indian cuisine. With reasonable prices (only £5.45 for their Seekh Kebab starter) house favourites include Dhal Makhani, Hyderabadi Handi and Achari Gosht. They've also got a selection of ice creams and Asian puddings for dessert.

Calling all sweet-tooth pudding lovers! Eis Café on Coventry Road really showcases Birmingham's diverse food scene with a dessert for everyone.
