Our Story

Salaams! I’m Adnan, one of the co-founders of Crescent Days.

Let me tell you about why I decided to start a wellness brand for Muslims.

I’ve been trying to find a solution to improve my own physical and mental wellness for years.

It all started after suffering severe burnout while running my previous business. With a growing team and offices in London and New York, it felt like I was running at a million miles an hour every day and I noticed the stress starting to mount.

At first it affected my sleep. I’d spend hours tossing and turning trying to get some rest.

Then I’d wake up feeling exhausted, tense, and in desperate need of an energy kick.

The business eventually got acquired in 2019 and as the UK started lockdown under Covid, I decided that the pandemic was going to be a pivotal turning point for everyone’s wellness, not just my own.

Alongside my co-founder, Gabor, we searched for ways to help.

We journeyed into the world of mindfulness, meditation and breathwork, created an award-winning “Must-have app” by Apple, and there were even appearances on Sky News and BBC.

But as I dug deeper, I realised that my own religion had the answers I was looking for.

It turns out the foods we’d been hearing about for years, mentioned in the Holy Qur’an and Hadith from the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), were now being verified by science.

Hundreds of years later, these foods are proven to help support a reduction in tiredness, fatigue and much, much more. Subhanallah.

We realised if we combined cutting edge scientific research with verified religious texts, we could help solve the same problems for not just myself, but millions of Muslims around the world.

We’re so excited to have you with us on our journey inshallah.
